LEGACY provides fishing intelligence, not navigation or safety guidance. Conditions, regulations, depths, hazards, and access can change. Use official navigation and weather sources, follow current fishing laws, and make your own safe decisions on the water.

LEGACY is built to help anglers learn from their own time on the water. It is not a substitute for judgment, seamanship, official navigation resources, current regulations, or safety decisions.

Fishing Information

Fishing recommendations, patterns, plans, lessons, species information, catch history, tide or weather context, and other intelligence are informational and educational. Fish behavior and environmental conditions can change rapidly. No catch, location, or fishing result is guaranteed.

Navigation

DO NOT USE LEGACY AS YOUR SOLE OR PRIMARY SOURCE FOR MARINE NAVIGATION. App locations, pins, tracks, map information, water depths, shorelines, routes, hazards, access points, or other geographic information may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or affected by device GPS error.

Use appropriate official charts and navigation equipment and maintain a proper lookout. The operator of a vessel remains responsible for safe operation, route selection, water depth, tides, currents, obstructions, restricted areas, private property, and changing conditions.

Weather and Marine Conditions

Weather, wind, tide, current, visibility, water level, and marine-condition information may change or be delayed. Check authoritative current sources before and during a trip. Do not rely on LEGACY for emergency warnings.

Fishing Laws and Access

Regulations, seasons, bag limits, size limits, gear restrictions, licenses, closures, boundaries, and access rules can change and can differ by jurisdiction and water. You are responsible for checking the current rules that apply where you fish and for obtaining permission before entering private or restricted property.

Emergency Use

LEGACY is not an emergency-response service. In an emergency, use appropriate emergency communications and contact the relevant emergency or maritime authorities.
