Delete your LEGACY account
From the app
Open Settings → Delete Account. Enter your current account password and type DELETE. The app asks for one final confirmation before permanently removing your account. You need an internet connection.
Without reinstalling the app
Email info@legacyintelhq.com with the subject LEGACY account deletion request, preferably from the address you use to sign in. Include only your account email and that you want your LEGACY account deleted. We will verify that you control the account before deleting it.
Do not send your password, recovery key or fishing locations by email. Opening the email link does not send a request automatically; review and send it yourself.
What is removed
Account deletion removes your sign-in and associated active cloud profile, fishing records, coaching records, encrypted private backups and owned share links. The in-app flow also clears LEGACY data and its backup key on the phone used to delete the account. The web/email process cannot remotely erase local files on your devices.
What may remain
Other devices can retain their local records until cleared. Exported files and copies recipients saved cannot be recalled. Legally required records and service-provider operational backups or security logs may remain under applicable retention rules. Deleted private cloud backups cannot be restored with a recovery key.
Keep your account instead
Signing out, clearing one phone, turning AI sharing off or deleting only your private cloud backup are separate options. These do not delete your account.
